Reserve a Museum Pass

List of Participating Museums and Gardens
 

1. PRINT ON DEMAND PASSES: Can be reserved up to 60 days in advance with an adult Syosset Public Library Card in good standing and can be printed from home or at the Library. These passes are only valid for the date of the visit listed on the confirmation page. Passes must be printed to gain access to the museum.
   
   
2. PICK UP/RETURN PASSES: Can be reserved up to 60 days in advance with an adult Syosset Public Library Card in good standing and must be picked up and returned to the library.
   
   
3. BOTH TYPES OF PASSES CAN ONLY BE RESERVED BY SYOSSET RESIDENTS. PATRONS MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO CHECK OUT A MUSEUM PASS.
   
   
4. Pick up/Return Passes circulate for two days: for example, if you reserved a pass for a Tuesday, it will be due back by 8:00 PM on Wednesday. Passes must be picked up and returned to the Reference Desk on the Third Floor. If the Library is closed, passes may be returned in the Media Drop Box.
   
   
5. Late Charges for Pick up/Return Passes are $5.00 per day per pass. Late return of Pick Up/Return museum passes that prevent the next patron from utilizing their reserved pass will result in additional fees placed on the patron responsible for the late return (i.e. museum entry fee). A non-refundable fee of $25.00 will be charged to any person who loses a Pick up/Return pass.
   
   
6. A maximum of 3 museum passes can be reserved per every thirty day period. Once the 3 pass limit has been reached, patrons must wait 30 days from the date of their first reservation to book another museum pass. Patrons may not use another adult family member card to book additional passes once the 3 pass limit has been exceeded.
   
   
7. Only one museum pass at a time is permitted per family (i.e. those patrons living at the same mailing address). Patrons may not reserve two museum passes for the same day and/or pick up two museum passes on the same day with separate library cards.
   
   
8. In an effort to allow greater access to our museum passes and as a courtesy to your fellow community members, please contact the Reference Desk at 921-7161 ext. 217 if you need to cancel your museum pass reservation, preferably on or before the date of your reservation. Reserved Pick up/Return Passes that are not picked up or canceled ahead of time will count toward the 3 pass limit.
   
   
9. Each pass has different admittance guidelines so be sure to read the admission policy and visit the museum’s website to learn more. Museum/garden operating hours are subject to change as are exhibit closings. Special museum/garden programs may have added fees not covered by SPL membership and are the patron’s responsibility. Patrons can access museum websites from the Tixkeeper homepage by clicking on the museum’s name. The Pass Details icon will give information on the number of adults and children that will be allowed admittance with that particular museum pass.
