Duties:
- Clerical tasks at the chapter office in Mineola (after school Mon. – Fri. until 4:30 PM).
- Filing, copying, faxing, etc.
- Volunteer as a receptionist at our Customer Service Desk (Monday – Thursday from 4:30 – 6:30 PM)
- Red Cross Club @ school or at the chapter office in Mineola
- Either establish a club or join an existing one
- The Club’s goals are to perform community based projects such as:
- Food drives, holiday party for disaster victims, rake leaves at homes of the elderly
- 2 Fund raisers
- Annual Bowlathon
- Tsunami/Disaster Victim fund raiser – bake sales, plant sale, etc.
- Disaster action team—must be accompanied by someone 18+ years old
- Assist at disaster sites-fires, floods, etc.
- Training by Red Cross required
- Volunteer as an instructor’s aide for one of our many Health and Safety Courses. The tasks asked of you may vary from instructor to instructor (weekend opportunity).
