Duties:

• Volunteer opportunities occur approximately once a month and vary by month.
• Opportunities include:
  • Book buddies: teens reading to younger children
  • Crafts: teens assisting younger children with crafts
  • Game night: play games with younger children
  • Reader’s Theatre: teens act out stories for younger children
  • Other: to be scheduled
  • Teen Advisory Board: the library has a teen advisory board comprised of teens interested in:
    • Assisting the Teen Services Librarian in developing programs and activities of interest to teens
    • Suggesting website links to be placed on the Teen Spaces portion of the library website
    • Suggesting books, music, movies and magazines to be added to the collection
