Age limits: Ages 14 and up (working papers required)
Candidate Requirements:
- Responsible, serious minded student; fun loving
- Minimum of 100 hour commitment
- Background check performed through the police department before acceptance
During the school year
- Weekdays: Yes (if possible) 3:30-5:00 PM
- Weekends: Yes (9:30 AM – 5 PM)
- Weekdays: Yes (Tuesday through Sunday)
- Weekends: Yes (9:30 AM – 5 PM)
Duties:
- Working in the galleries helping children with various activities, ticket taking
- During the summer, there are many camp groups at the museum; volunteer will help tour guides/explainers with children
Other:
- Can receive a letter of recommendation after completion of 100 hours
- Work sessions are:
- 9:30 AM to 1 PM; 1 PM – 5 PM
- Volunteer can work one or both shifts
