Candidate Requirements: Show up at times scheduled
During the school year
- Weekdays: Yes 3:30 – 5 PM
- Weekends: Special events only

Duties:
- Clerical: answering phones, help with mailings, data entry in Mineola office
- Fund raising/food raising efforts – typically for groups, through a club or school, plan a bake sale, car wash or other activity.
- Special events: food shows, concerts, fairs, and food drives
- Major events:
- National Association of Letter Carrier Food Drive (May)
- Assist in sorting and packing food (May 16-18, 2005; work until 8 PM)
- Turkey & Trimmings Collection (November and December)
- Assist in sorting and packing food
