The Syosset Public Library is proud to announce the arrival of our new audio books service, OverDrive . You can now browse and select from a variety of great titles and download them to your computer, transfer them to a variety of portable devices, or burn them onto a CD (when permitted by the publisher) for your listening pleasure anywhere, anytime. Patrons may check out up to five titles at a time, and at the end of the seven day lending period, the audio books will expire from the PC and be returned automatically to the digital collection.

To access the Syosset Library digital audio book collection, you will need:

• A Syosset Public Library card
• Access to the Internet
• Free downloadable software for the computer and/or device on which you wish to access the material from the site

Please note that digital downloads can be enjoyed at home, at work or when you travel, but are not for use on the computers in the library.
