Venetian Masks and the History of Carnevale

Dr. Emelise Aleandri, actress, singer, author, and producer and former Director, Center for Italian American Studies, Brooklyn College, will present this lecture and demonstration on the mask and the history of Carnevale, the annual Italian festival celebrated on Fat Tuesday. Refreshments will be served following the lecture and are supplied by the Giuseppe Verdi Lodge, Order Sons of Italy in America, Syosset, NY.

Taproot Writing Workshop
