Thank you for your continued support. The Syosset Library budget was approved by the voters:
Yes – 2,617
No – 1,369
Incumbent Lorraine Trachtman was elected to the Syosset Library Board of Trustees for a five year term.
Alene Shorin was elected to the Syosset Library Board of Trustees for a one year term.

Veteran's History Project Underway

The Syosset Library is proud to participate in the Veteran's History Project, an oral history initiative spanning the decades from World War I to the present. Its mission is to collect, preserve and make accessible the first-hand knowledge of America's wartime veterans. |

Upcoming Adult Programs
| Bus Trip: Montauk Tuesday, Jun 04, 2013 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM $84 per person includes transportation, lunch and gratuity. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Gurney's Inn followed by a 2 hour guided bus tour of Montauk and then a tour and wine tasting at Duck Walk Vineyards. Bus leaves Syosset/Woodbury Park at 9 AM and returns approximately at 7:30 PM. (Menu choice at registration: Chicken Cordon Bleu, Loin of Pork, Fish of the Day) In person registration only begins Tuesday, April 9. |
